https://growitsewitmakeit.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/my-gardening-apron-2

Grow it, Sew it, Make it! Gardening, sewing, cooking, crafts. November 5, 2013. I needed a new gardening apron so I decided to make one out of an old pair of jeans. I cut the legs off of a pair of bell bottom jeans the length I wanted my ron. I cut one seam open. Next I laid it open and trimmed and pressed. Next I cut pockets out and embroidered them and sewed them on. I lined the apron with a blue cotton. Last I cut and sewed the apron ties on. Butternut Squash Macaroni and Cheese. Quilted Christmas Placemats | Grow it, Sew it, Make it!

https://growitsewitmakeit.wordpress.com/2013/11/19/quilted-christmas-placemats

Grow it, Sew it, Make it! Gardening, sewing, cooking, crafts. November 19, 2013. I saw some of these round pieced and quilted placemats on Pinterest and decided to make some for a Christmas gift. I used a store bought round placemat for the pattern. It measures 15″ across. They are made with 3 fabrics and batting. Using 2 of your fabrics, cut into 5-1/2″ squares and then sewn them together into a 9-patch. The 3rd fabric is used for the backing. Using your round pattern cut a batting and backing piece.

PERMACULTURE * Design Principle #8 Keep an eye on the EDGES! February 18, 2014 4:32 pm. In gardening the edge is the intersection of two environments. For me in life it is where my artwork and studio intersect with the planning and caring for the gardens. This blog is an edge where my gardens and orchard intersect with readers who want to know more about permaculture and might be curious about garden inspired art. Edges are rich with possibilities. Surprises from Mulch Manor Farm

Surprises from Mulch Manor Farm. Thoughts on transforming a suburban yard into edible and ornamental landscaping. Friday, July 31, 2009. Sweet Potatoes as Ground Cover and Food.
