Monday, February 17, 2014. In front of the lens. I was recently IN a styled photo shoot for a magazine that I work for. It was really fun and spring-y, and was also totally weird being the one photographed instead of the one behind the lens…. Here are a few iPhone snaps, will post some of the pro photos when they are available! Posted by Heather Kinkel. EMAIL ADDRESS- - [stmarkloansetup@gmail.com]. The "Not-So" Empty Nest: Reviving a Lost Art Form, Etiquette
http://thenot-soemptynest.blogspot.com/2014/03/reviving-lost-art-form-etiquette.html
Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Reviving a Lost Art Form, Etiquette. Etiquette is a very intimidating word to some people. It says "Proper". Well, in 2014, A LOT of people are not "into" what's proper but what works for them, leaving a wake of problems that can resonate into generations to come. I am sure there is an updated version but I love this one. I still have a napkin from my wedding and something my Heather had drawn as books mark in it. I am not a stuffy, do it right or else kind of person. but I ...

The "Not-So" Empty Nest: Conversation Etiquette
http://thenot-soemptynest.blogspot.com/2014/05/conversation-etiquette.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. Conversing Well is an Art! Always wait for the person speaking to finish. AND, try not to appear like you can't wait for them to finish so you can talk. Nobody likes a one sided conversation. You will actually find that the other person could very well be interesting. It also helps in keeping the conversation moving. Keep eye contact when the other person is speaking. I can totally tell if someone is listening or not by eye contact and their "uh huhs"! Hope this has been encouraging!

The "Not-So" Empty Nest: April 2015
http://thenot-soemptynest.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 20, 2015. A Rose By Any Other Name. I thought I would just send some encouragement out there today. Today is a day for many to start all over again. Run, hit the gym or go on a diet because they blew it over the weekend. Or maybe to be a better parent because their kids weren't perfect at school last week. You didn't find some new recipe to wow your family or companion with? I get exhausted of all the expectations everyone is putting on themselves. What ever you are. Thanks for stopping by!

The "Not-So" Empty Nest: Easy Peasy Doughnuts
http://thenot-soemptynest.blogspot.com/2014/09/easy-peasy-doughnuts.html
Thursday, September 4, 2014. Would you like my recipe for the easiest doughnuts ever? 1 (or however many doughnuts you want to make) can store bought canned biscuits. Melt the Crisco (enough to make at least 3" deep) in a deep sauce pan and keep it pretty hot. Take one biscuit at a time and cut a hole in the middle with a small round cookie cutter or anything that will cut about. A 1" circle. Save those cutouts, those are your "donut holes" :). Repeat with all of your biscuits and holes. But to do justly,.
