Chronicles of Growing Courage. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. PS Of course all this practice means that if I ever play in the famous Barker Thanksgiving football game again.I might school some people. Posted by Melody at 8:12 PM. Monday, August 21, 2006. They haven't thrown tomatoes at me yet. Trainer: "So many people come in here for one thing, but they don't even know what they really need. It is your job to open up the doors so they can see they are really lacking a whole lot more than they thought.

Chronicles of Growing Courage: Alpine Grief

http://growingcourage.blogspot.com/2010/11/alpine-grief.html

Chronicles of Growing Courage. Thursday, November 18, 2010. I wade into grief slowly. As if it were an alpine lake. Each step with breathless gasping. Its frigid bite meeting warm skin. Until each body part. The thousand poking needles. As if a thin paper. Suddenly shields my skin. Finally, I am immersed. And I carefully tilt back my head. To press my nose. As the water covers my face. Feeling the throbbing cold. Through my skin, muscles, nerves, and bones. Until it hits my core. And then, only then.

Chronicles of Growing Courage: The "Ah-Ha" Moment

http://growingcourage.blogspot.com/2010/07/ah-ha-moment.html

Chronicles of Growing Courage. Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was the timid, shy boy who had already cried four times out of an abject terror of learning to ride a mountain bike. Deep down, there seemed to be a voice that told him it would be impossible to learn how to ride a bike, although he had witnessed several other students succeed in the endeavor. Do you believe you can do this? I asked him, after huffing and puffing alongside of his bike, trying to balance him. He stumbled to a halt once again.

Chronicles of Growing Courage: Farewell, Tuchekoi and Southeast Queensland

http://growingcourage.blogspot.com/2010/08/farewell-tuchekoi-and-southeast.html

Chronicles of Growing Courage. Monday, August 09, 2010. Farewell, Tuchekoi and Southeast Queensland. What a fantastic trip! Some of the kids were crying as they boarded the bus that would take them to the airport and back to Hong Kong. I, too, felt a mixture of the sweet, painful sadness that comes at the end of an experience that has been significantly valuable and memorable. Truly, Camp Tuchekoi is a unique and special place. The Wachsmuth Family Blog. March 23, 2009. Adam got a haircut! 8212; by wachsmuth @ 4:39 am. What a difference a haircut makes! I barely recognized Adam when I saw this latest update. I couldn’t believe they cut off all his hair! Although, if the past 6 months have been any indication, I’m sure he’ll have no trouble growing it all back. This is my favorite picture so far. I love his smile and it looks like he has two teeth coming in. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. The Chi Family Blog.

Early Christmas at Big Bear. Even though there was no snow, we had a great time up at Big Bear watching Christmas movies, singing carols, sleeping and eating a lot, playing pool, roping things (some of us), racing Nascar, seeing Narnia, and most of all playing with Baby Jake. Good memories! Au Revoir, Annie! Well, thi...

Growing crazy together

Just a family of 6 growing each day. Probably going crazier each day, but growing none the less. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. And then, climbing out of Chicago I took pause to wonder what is being built in those factories. I observed the backyards of people I do not know. Climbing higher, my focus shifts to traffic patterns. Then railway layout. City planning. Snow removal. Public spaces. Farms, and finally the differential freezing patterns of lakes and rivers. Of service to her neighbors. With slight...
