Geese, ducks, chickens OH MY! Our newest farm tenants are growing fast and have to be moved to their new and more permanent home (there's a duck in with the chicks, really, can you find it? The geese have tripled in size in less than 2 weeks and act as though they were full grown. It's cute now because they're not nearly as intimidating as they will be when they're full grown and making an obscene amount of racket while threatening to pinch you with their beak at every turn. With out the bucket. I love t...

Growing Every Bit: 04/2010 - 05/2010

No banner or balloons, but we are still excited about them coming! As I said in my last post we just bought a house on a half acre lot. When we originally started the house search we (or maybe just me) thought we couldn't live without at least 10 acres, then reality hit and being closer to work (not to mention financially do-able) meant a much smaller lot. Moved in and am waiting for the day life goes back to "normal". Can that really happen? I keep looking at the garden space wanting to dive in and then...

Saturday 3pm, three hungry boys (one being the husband), quick what's in the fridge? We had been playing and working outside all day. Lunch and food was forgotten in the beautiful sun and new slip 'n slide. The oldest announces he is hungry and the little one repeats "hungy! I ran into the kitten chopped up some Kalamata olives (we always have some) mixed it with our goat cheese and sliced a baguette. It took 5 minutes and then you have a wonderful snack or great hors d'oeuvre to take to an event. Pour t...

Thursday, June 14, 2012. She's four and she's a talker. Oh my, the things that Josie thinks of.this was all yesterday. When coloring she frequently states, "Whew! This is hard work. I need to give my hand a rest.". We need to put her hair into braids when Daddy comes home from his business trip because "I look really cute with braids.". Wednesday, June 13, 2012. What we've been up to. This is what we've been up to for the last month or so. Checking out the tide pools on Averøya. Apparently the concept of...

Two Ring Circus: The rest of Christmas....

http://2ringcircus.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-rest-of-christmas.html

Thursday, January 3, 2013. The rest of Christmas. I fell off the blogging wagon.I did. We really did have a great rest of Advent though. On the 19th day of Advent Marshall and I flew to Massachusetts to join Will and Josie. And I have to brag. My children are amazing travelers. Whenever we talk about our trips, inevitably people ask, "How are the flights with the kids? Marshall always likes to read the safety guide thoroughly. Happy and excited travelers! Thursday, January 3, 2013. The day after Christmas, the clan from Philadelphia arrived and I simply have to share some pictures. Nana holding court over the second round of present opening. Uncle Chris excited about his new Moods of Norway pink tractor underwear. Reading time with Bella. And of course, we had to go to Ficco's. Candlepin bowling is part of our cultural heritage in Massachusetts. A dying art that must be passed on to our children if it is to be saved. Four girl pile on! Honestly, I don't e...

Monday, August 20, 2012. Guess what we've been up to? School is back in session! And of course, as predicted, I am missing all the time with these two munchkins.not enough to do anything silly like start homeschooling them or something like that. (Maybe if we were in the US with homeschool associations and other activities, but not here.I don't miss them that much not to remember the 24/7 fun we just had for five months). Life is looking up. (Especially because tomorrow is my day off.). 4th of July 2015.

Sunday, December 16, 2012. I am ready to post about our next days of Advent, but I need to document the pause. The pause from holiday hilarity and festivity. The pause from good cheer and Christmas lights and present planning. The pause from packing and excitement. Because for us it is just a pause. A horrific event which shakes us to the core and makes us question why, why. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am Marshall and Josie's mom. I am Will's wife. Sunday, July 22, 2012. Knit, knit, pearl, pearl, knit, knit, pearl, pearl. Sometimes I need the methodical. When all I focus on is the ribbing of Marshall's new socks, started thrice times over. It is just is hard to find hats to fit and look good and then I always have to have my hair. 65279;. My mom had this great button that just happen to match perfectly! Blog it, when you got it.
