Adventures of... The Z Mom!: July 2009
http://littlezkids.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 6, 2009. I'm still around, sort of. We have made it through our grueling travels and now are killing time in an extended stay hotel while waiting for our new home in GA. Not sure where or when or anything on that front. Part of me is fine with not having a home as once we do I'll have 200 boxes to deal with! So far it's been a belt, a jump rope, a toy leash, and just something to carry around (for the little gal). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adventures of. The Z Mom! View my complete profile.

Adventures of... The Z Mom!: Library ABC Club
http://littlezkids.blogspot.com/2009/03/library-abc-club.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Our local library has some great children's programs. I'm actually a bit sad that we didn't make more of an effort to attend regularly. Zara had a blast at ABC club this week. Zoey and I also really enjoyed the puppet show! After the reading and letter of the day time, the children went to activity stations set up all over the room relating to the letter of the week. Our library doesn't even have storytime anymore :(. April 10, 2009 at 8:51 PM. What a neat program, Amber!

Adventures of... The Z Mom!: Poor, neglected blog.
http://littlezkids.blogspot.com/2009/05/poor-neglected-blog.html
Friday, May 8, 2009. Poor, neglected blog. Let me give a quick rundown of the past month, let's just say we've been a bit preoccupied! Daniel returned home from Yuma on April 6th to the news that we are going to have another baby! It was shock at first, but we are all thrilled about our growing family. Z3 is expected to arrive in December. A week later, more big news, PCS orders (that means moving from you non-military folks)! Last, but not least, we are enjoying some of the places and activities that we...

Adventures of... The Z Mom!: Homemade Creamsicles
http://littlezkids.blogspot.com/2009/04/homemade-creamsicles.html
Friday, April 3, 2009. If you have popcicle molds, you can make your own healthy and delicious treats. For Orange Creamsicles you only need Plain Yogurt (we use organic cream-top) and orange juice concentrate. I didn't really measure quantities, we just mixed what yogurt we had left with a few spoonfuls of juice concentrate until it tasted like Orange. Then we filled up the molds. We used plain juice for the last couple popsicles. Yum, homemade frozen treats are the best! April 23, 2009 at 10:47 PM.

Adventures of... The Z Mom!: January 2009
http://littlezkids.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. Watercolor resists and wet chalk. I've seen the idea for using watercolors over crayon quite a few times, most recently here. And couldn't wait to let Zara try it out. Here she is getting all set up with her materials. Using a large baking sheet makes clean up a breeze! I gave Zara a white crayon which made her drawings "magically" appear when she painted over them, super cool for a preschooler! She is very into drawing Z's, I wonder why? Here is a Sun drawn by Zara. I found t...

Adventures of... The Z Mom!: December 2008
http://littlezkids.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Our last visit of the season to Sea World. We sure enjoyed having Season Passes this year, not sure if we'll be here long enough to make the purchase worthwhile next year. Even though it was a bit chilly on Sunday we decided to go to Sea World. It turned out to be a great day, hardly any people so we got to do a few things we had never done before. Zara got to pet a Clydesdale horse. She also got to pet one of the Dalmatians, this was the 1st time we had seen them out! Thank y...
