Friday, May 8, 2015. Disney Trip Day 3- Animal Kingdom! Our third day there, we had to do something, even though Lena wasn't feeling her best because we wouldn't have time to finish everything before we had to head home. Super excited for Disney! So that morning we headed out to the Animal Kingdom. Luckily, Lena seemed to be doing better, smiling and eating a bit and keeping it down. This is his suave face. After Daisy, we meandered over to Africa to get in the FP line for the Safari. While we were nappi...

Thirty Little Piggies: June 2014

Sunday, June 29, 2014. Repurposing A Shirt Into A Clothespin Bag. In the summer, and on nicer days during the other times of the year, I like to hang dry my clothes to help offset the air conditioner as well as keep it cooler in our home. The dryer makes it hot! One thing I hate about line drying is how my clothespins always get nasty out on the line, with dirt and muck, and the worst of worsts, spider webs and spiders. I remember when I was a little girl (do I sound like an old lady now? I then turned t...

Thirty Little Piggies: Disney Trip- Day 1 & 2
http://thirtylittlepiggies.blogspot.com/2015/04/disney-trip-day-1-2.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Disney Trip- Day 1 and 2. Driving through the night was a great idea in theory, but with a sick and fussy baby who isn't a great sleeper to begin with, it was torture. She cried and fussed 85% of the drive. The other kids did great, sleeping most of the time and watching DVDs the rest. We got to our hotel around noon on the 16, and they allowed us to check in early, which was wonderful! Can you guess which one belongs to which kid? View of our hotel courtyard. Check out Day 3!

Thirty Little Piggies: January 2014

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Today marks 5 years since John Michael Dilday was murdered. His murderer has not been found. His family has had no justice. If you could take a minute to check out his page, read about him, and maybe share his page with your friends, I know his family would greatly appreciate it. Every share counts. Thanks. Http:/ www.johnmichaeldilday.com/. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. We have a profile shot of all of our kids doing the "duck lips" just like Daddy. Bye bye, see you soon!

Thirty Little Piggies: July 2014
http://thirtylittlepiggies.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Lena is already two months old. I can hardly believe it, but yet it feels like she has been here forever. She fits in perfectly in our family. She is truly a blessing. She loves all of her siblings, but Landon is her favorite, he can get the best smiles from her. She is trying to laugh, and sometimes she can, but so far no big belly laughs yet. She sleeps fairly well at night now, going down between 11pm-1am and sleeping until 5 or 6, then eating and sleeping until 9.

Thirty Little Piggies: August 2013
http://thirtylittlepiggies.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. Around noon, they woke her up for us to talk to her. We, as well as her doctor, and her nurse, explained her choices. And she kept motioning for us to take out her tube. We asked if she was ready to go to Jesus. She shook her head, yes she was ready. I can't really remember what time the tube was removed. I just remember laughing and trying to be happy. And remembering. And singing with her. And praying. What if I would have taken better care of her? Sunday, August 18, 2013.

Thirty Little Piggies: October 2013
http://thirtylittlepiggies.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 31, 2013. Happy Halloween to my readers! Today we had an easy day with school so that we could have our own little party after lunch. I made the kids dirt cups. Chocolate pudding with crushed up Oreos and gummy worms. I also made them the pretzel, kiss, and candy corn treats. After our snacks, we danced to the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, Monster Mash, and a few others. No pictures of that since I was getting in on the fun too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
