and so are the days of our lives: April 2012

Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Take home baby….NICU baby. I have followed Heather Cox’s. That’s what you think of when you think of the birth of a new baby, right? Somewhere near those lines anyway. For so many families the above scenario is a dream that fell short. Their deliveries were unplanned, unexpected and down right terrifying. One second everything is fine and the next they find themselves being told delivery is necessary for whatever reason. The boys wore their jersey’s, got to run out on the...

29 November 2013 – Michael’s 7th birthday party | Linda's Journal

29 November 2013 – Michael’s 7th birthday party. Michael wanted a summer party this year (again). We ended up doing it 5 months to the day after his actual birthday🙂. It was a swimming party. The kids had a ball! They loved the pool and the squirt guns I gave to each child. It had also been fun-day at the school so most of the kids had inflatables with them. I also decided to do a few water balloons and make games with them – needless to say 150 water balloons later they were all done. From your own site.

Lessons in 2010: June 2010
http://lessonsin2010.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 26, 2010. By God's grace, my sister is strong. For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.". Thursday, June 17, 2010. I've been silent instead of speaking up. Gave my advice instead of giving love. I have been unfair, faithless and unkind. I have shut my eyes just so I would stay blind. It's not what I meant to do. First I...

Lessons in 2010: October 2010
http://lessonsin2010.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 29, 2010. My purpose remains the art of losing myself in bringing You praise. Thursday, October 28, 2010. I am so very thankful for second chances. This past Saturday Sam and I had a second chance to stand before God and be married. It was a very small ceremony with immediate family and had Sam's sister, Lori perform the ceremony. Thank you God for second chances. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Post of the Week. There is no better song right now than You Won't Relent by Jesus Culture. Right...

Lessons in 2010: September 2010
http://lessonsin2010.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. Thank you God, for teaching me that my life is not about me, but about You. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. I wonder where we got this huge sense of entitlement. I'm slowly learning to accept struggle, circumstances, and situations, even in the smallest sense. Here is how I learned that accepting your struggles just may be one of the keys to life:. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal later to us." Romans 9:17-18. Tuesday, September 28, 2010.

Dancin' in the Rain: June 2009
http://dancingintherain-dispatch83.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Dancin' in the Rain. Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass.it is about learning to dance in the rain.". Sunday, June 28, 2009. Thy will be done." The fourth line in the Lord's Prayer. Echoed by millions of Christians around the world. Simple words- but possibly the most difficult submission in life. How do you come to that point? That point where I actually, sincerely give everything up to God? A point where I can accept. That I may never conceive a child of my own? I got an award! 2) I judge p...

http://lifewiththebrewers.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-little-randomness.html
Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Had some random pictures that really didn’t fit anywhere else, but I wanted to document nonetheless! Brady is such a good big brother! Daddy was changing a light bulb and I guess Kaden thought he needed help! It’s soccer season! Daddy had his first scrimmage on saturday. So we put on our soccer attire and headed to Brook! Karsyn Loves the coach! Brady was annoyed that we stopped for group pictures! And just because she’s cute! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I was gently remind a couple of days ago that I hadn’t exactly followed up on how Karsyn is doing after her surgery! 160; Sorry guys! 160; This summer has definitely been a whirlwind. One thing after another, and I can not. Believe it’s almost over…but let’s not dwell on the negative! 160; And she doesn’t have any other issues? SO…how is Karsyn? 160; She’s doing great! Never missed a beat! 160; Is just as dramatic and talkative as ever! Thursday, July 14, 2011. 160; We got to the...

Hope Endures: February 2010
http://hope-endures.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 4, 2010. My mom tells a story about my toddler days: she had given me some Cheerios, and one of them wasn't perfectly round. Apparently I had a very serious problem with this, and threw a temper tantrum the likes of which no other child could ever replicate. This doesn't surprise me; I like things the way I like them. I tend to think I'm just. But truth be told, the word for it is. Why, yes, I was that child who drove my mom to read "The Strong-Willed Child." Why do you ask? Ironically...

9 May 2014 – Pirate Day | Linda's Journal
https://lindasjournal.wordpress.com/2014/05/09/9-may-2014-pirate-day
9 May 2014 – Pirate Day. This entire term at school Michael has been learning about Pirates. Today they could go to school dressed as pirates. Michael was SO excited (he still loves dress-up). I had such a giggle on the way to school – Michael was all dressed up (beard, eyebrows and all) and the people in the traffic were staring at him like nobody’s business. He was grinning and waving at them all. Great day……. This entry was posted on Friday, May 9th, 2014 at 6:39 pm and is filed under Michael. The gre...
