http://growingtogetherapart.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Two boys. born in nyc. now living 11,633 miles apart. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. We are almost at the end of school term and are enjoying some lovely sunny winter days in between the cold ones! On Sunday we went on a long scooter ride around Lake Burley Griffin. Jake's favourite ride is now back and forth over Commonwealth Avenue Bridge. Amber enjoyed throwing sticks and stones into the lake and watching them make a big splash! Happy after his ride. Jake's favourite scooter ride over the bridge. We did, h...

Two boys. born in nyc. now living 11,633 miles apart. Friday, January 9, 2015. The magical week of Christmas! Thankfully Jake lasted until 6am and was super excited to see that Santa had been and there were lots of wrapped presents around the tree. Amber very quickly got the idea of opening presents and soon our living room was one big mess! After a big seafood lunch (as you do in hot Australia at Christmas time) we rode bikes and played frisbee by the lake. Here are some photos from our day:. Simple tem...

Two boys. born in nyc. now living 11,633 miles apart. Sunday, March 30, 2014. The good thing about a new neighbourhood is that sometimes when you turn a corner you discover a hidden treasure! We now hope that if we bring his actual bike out for Amber to ride he might actually like that too! Lucky find - around the corner from our house. Jake the stubborn child - this photo has nothing to do with this week's post but I love it! Where mom spent her weekend away. Beloved gardening gloves with her. The play ...

Growing Together
Friday, February 22, 2013. Thursday, February 23, 2012. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Yes this will be really short as I am starting this at 12:35 am on a tue morning. Yes I am supposed to be sleeping but I have been putting this off for quite a while. Yes that is a good sign. Some of my initial fears concerned our girls Mic and Sam. Was this going to hurt them? How was it going to change the relationship they have now? Would they still feel loved with that many kiddos running around? Will they love us?
