growing up fouss: January 2012

http://www.growingupfouss.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 6, 2012. We had a really nice trip to visit Eric's folks (aside from the loooong drive! It took about 13 hours to get there; we ended up leaving Sunday (Christmas) around 6:45 and got to their place at 8:00 am Monday morning. Eric drove most of the way - he gets a little crazy like that! The weather wasn't awesome, but it was still warmer than at home! 3-d glasses so that when you looked at the fireworks you could see legos coming out of them! Exams are next week at school - I can't belie...

Monday, June 6, 2011. Today was day 1 of summer vacation, and everything went great! After we did some chores around the house, we packed a lunch and headed off to Coney Island for a while. Fun! After a short while at home (where the kids rested, changed clothes, and did some reading and writing) we headed off to dance (Audrey), baseball (Conner), and softball (me). Busy night! Saturday, February 2, 2013. I was just cleaning out the basket in the kitchen that collects everything and found their stickers from the doctor when we went last March. Conner: (age 8) 49 1/2" and 64 lbs. I'm thinking he'll weigh less than that this year, mostly because of the medication he's now taking daily. It's definitely not because he isn't eating! Last night we had a late dinner at Chipotle after a boys' basketball game, and he downed a chicken bowl with no problems. He normally out-eats me.

growing up fouss: December 2011

http://www.growingupfouss.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 25, 2011. We headed downstairs to see if Santa had come and despite some of their previous bad behavior, he made it! Eric had broken a handle on the door of our fireplace last night and I left a note from Santa apologizing - the kids really got a kick out of that! The only thing Audrey had asked Santa for was some "princess chapstick" (she was so easy to buy for this year! Out back under the deck. He and Eric (who I think is actually more excited about the purchase than Conner is! Have a...

Friday, July 25, 2008. Cooking, the Zoo, the Park and more Movies! Wednesday I spent, what felt like, all afternoon in the kitchen. I was making homemade bread (with the bread maker. Basil and squash soup. Levi wanted to help cook. Yesterday, Thursday, I took Levi to the zoo and we met up with Aunt Kristen, Conner, Audrey and Kristen's mom, Kate. We had a great time seeing all the animals. Levi especially loved riding on the " cho. Train He also really liked the flamingos - "birdies" are always fun!

Life in Ohio: March 2009

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Noah and Jesus' mom. We read the Bible to Levi before he goes down for a nap and bed at night. His favorite character at this point is Noah. I think partly because his friend Hannah's oldest brother is named Noah so he can relate :) On the way to church on Sunday Levi was telling me about Noah and Jesus' mom. The Levi version of the Bible story went like this:. Jesus' mom was missing. We found her at Noah's house. She was upstairs getting ready for the party. I love that we liv...

Life in Ohio: January 2009

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 30, 2009. Today I am recovering from the nasty stomach flu that has been going around. Levi had it for three days last week and Andy's had it since Sunday. I got it Wednesday night and yesterday Andy stayed home from work to take care of the boys so I could rest all day. Today he took Levi to Carrie's house so I could continue resting and hopefully get better faster. It's amazing how much easier it is to have just a newborn than a newborn and a toddler! Thursday, January 8, 2009. And I ha...

Life in Ohio: October 2008

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 20, 2008. We had a very busy weekend this past weekend. Levi and I went to Circle S Farms on Friday morning with MOPS friends. Levi got to see some animals, go through a hay bale maze, play in the hay in the "fun barn", go on a hayride and pick out a pumpkin! It was a very fun morning! Here are some cute pictures from the day. The home was able to come for lunch on Saturday and see everyone who worked on her home. It was such a neat experience. On her new piano. Woods - this really neat p...

Life in Ohio: Ezra's antics

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2009/03/ezras-antics.html

Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Tonight after dinner Ezra was asleep in the pack n' play in the family room (I rearranged furniture last night! And all of a sudden he started screaming like he was in some intense pain! I went over and picked him up and he was still screaming. It took me a few seconds to realize that he had grabbed onto his hair and couldn't let go! So he was screaming because he was hurting himself. Poor guy! In other news, it was beautiful out today! Life in Ohio: Update on the kids and SNAP!

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2009/03/update-on-kids-and-snap.html

Thursday, March 12, 2009. Update on the kids and SNAP! So I didn't realize I hadn't posted in over a month! I've finally gotten Ezra's baby announcements out - it only took two months! The difference of having two kids I guess :). He also has rolled over twice from belly to back! The first time at 7 weeks! He's almost out of his 0-3 month clothes already and he's only 2 months! There could be worse things to throw fits over, but it's still challenging - especially when Ezra's crying at the same time....

Sunday, June 8, 2008. I've joined the blogging world! So I've heard that blogging is easier than updating Levi's webpage - so we'll go for easy! Levi is getting bigger each day. Today at church Andy was holding him and for the first time his face looked like a little boy to me rather than a baby! Perhaps he's beginning to loose some of his chubby cheeks? Probably not, but some day I hope. When he runs his cheeks bouce - it's so cute! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ive joined the blogging world!

Life in Ohio: August 2008

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 28, 2008. So you may be asking yourself, why is Erica taking naps and not doing the zip line or ropes courses? Well it's because we are expecting baby #2! We are due on January 30, 2009. Levi will be 26 months old at that point so we'll be smack in the middle of the terrible-twos with a newborn. Not sure if this planning was a great idea or not :) Levi know about the baby and likes to lift up my shirt and give the baby kisses (zerberts) on my belly. So we'll wait again. And Andy on the r...

http://lifeinohio-elf.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 15, 2008. Coffee", Christmas pictures, the zoo and getting ready to move. Recently none of us has been feeling 100% so we've been making a lot of tea with honey. Levi calls any hot drink "toffee" and wants some. I've started giving him some really watered down, lukewarm hot chocolate. He likes to drink it in his mug and sit on the chair. We went to see the zoo-lights last night with some of our church friends. Levi had a blast riding on the carousel. I don't really know why we have toys ...
