Five years ago, right after Gus's 9th birthday, I started to write about parenting a child with learning differences. I called the blog Growing up Gus. Now that he is almost 14, the "growing up" part is well underway, and I have retired the blog. I am currently on a fellowship at the Globe and Mail, working on an in-depth feature entitled Hijacked: When Learning Disabilities Take Over.
