Monday, 7 March 2011. The boys had a week school holiday, so time to hit the road again! This time we went to Oman, by plane. You can drive, it is about 9 to 10 hours, but you have to drive trough Saudi Arabia. I am not allowed to drive there, and have to wear an abaya. But as I watched my plants dying in their plastic containers, just waiting for their home, I decided to suck it up and get it done today. The Family Called Syvertsen. Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Our activity was handing out free potted plants to random strangers. We met up in a shopping center parking lot to get all the plants potted and then headed out to find people. The boys got really into it and it was fun to watch them interact with people. The Family Called Syvertsen. Sunday, July 21, 2013. Praying for Friends who are Like Family. Words can't express how I miss those close friends we have in Prague. They were our families, our sanity, and our community there. I always say it's good to be blessed enough to have friends both here and there, but you always miss the ones you are away from. Usually this is discovered by birth, quite often nature repairs it itself, and if not surgery is usually done when the boy is around 1 year old.
