Friday, November 16, 2012. It was so awesome to stand here read the writings and think how this man impacted our country. We spent a lot of time here. I am so thankful that we were able to have two of the kids with us but wish all four could have made this trip. I hope that I will be able to come back some day. Thank GOD for Abraham Lincolns impact on the World. August 25, 2013 at 1:53 PM. Good traveling memories collection. September 10, 2013 at 11:15 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Traveling Deckers: Vietnam Wall
http://thetravelingdeckers.blogspot.com/2012/11/vietnam-wall.html
Friday, November 16, 2012. It gets very graphic in spots, it was difficult to explain war to a young child. A few years later we were blessed to be able to visit Pearl Harbor. Here too we all had tears. Daniel asked us "so this came before Hiroshima? I am glad that we were able to visit this site and to learn a little more of our history. Wednesday, November 20, 2013. This summer we were so lucky to have Jessica choose to spend her summer break from school here. When we found out for sure that she was coming I got Dennis to work on a couple trips. One with Jess and Matt to England. I wanted to see Stonehenge! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In Bill's Humble Opinion: It Has Been My Honor
http://ibho.blogspot.com/2009/03/it-has-been-my-honor.html
In Bill's Humble Opinion. It Has Been My Honor. I was recognized during the Post Retirement Ceremony today. At Wendy's request, I've posted my remarks from the ceremony below. I have had the honor of serving with Army Civilians. What an amazing group of professionals; Hardworking and honest and forever respectful of the soldiers they serve - there are far too many to name but without their contributions, I would have failed many times over. So to them I also owe a big thank you. I am very blessed, and do...

In Bill's Humble Opinion: Silver Lining
http://ibho.blogspot.com/2009/03/silver-lining.html
In Bill's Humble Opinion. I've always been a glass half-empty kind of person. However, I've been trying to change that. Sometimes it takes me a little while to find a better perspective but it sure feels good to let a burden slip away. Prime example was this past Saturday - but I need to back it up a few weeks to tell the full story. This is good stuff! 23 March, 2009 23:32. I'm glad that we had a good time on Sat. And I'm glad for the silver linings we've been able to find with your vehicle. A LONG walk...

In Bill's Humble Opinion: Fine....
http://ibho.blogspot.com/2009/04/fine.html
In Bill's Humble Opinion. I had an epiphany this evening. One of my children asked how my day at work went. (They've been either courteous or curious since I started a new job.) My answer was "Fine. I did some training, unpacked a little into my new office." The truth is that when they ask me about work, the answer is usually similar. For example, "Fine, spent most the day in meetings.". I guess I need to set a better example! 07 April, 2009 23:32. That was a fine post. :). 07 April, 2009 23:39. TV remot...
