Girls Who Wear Pearls: May 2011

http://growingupscottish.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

May 19, 2011. Pick of The Day. My current obsession in shoes: The fabulous Vince Camuto. Print sandals are just AMAZING! I'm going on a trip to Cabo soon and I want everything that screams beach vacay. These sandals come in all different colors and I really can't decide which ones I want most. They are $89.00, so I can't really afford to buy all 5 pairs. :o/ So far, these leopard print sandals are "WINNING.". Pick of the Day. May 13, 2011. Pick of the Day. I know I am). May 9, 2011. Other than that I fel...

Girls Who Wear Pearls: The Week In Review

http://growingupscottish.blogspot.com/2011/09/week-in-review.html

September 30, 2011. The Week In Review. This week we made some fantastic (and surprisingly strong) margaritas from a recipe we got from the engineers parents. There were some walks in the bayou, a Jenga tower so tall I couldn't fit it all in frame, and we went for a swim. Also for some reason my office at work now feels like an igloo. All and all it was a pretty good week. Have a great weekend! Also just for fun Draw A Stickman. September 30, 2011 at 2:44 PM. All-time favorite game :). Walks AND a swim?

Girls Who Wear Pearls: Style Me Pretty: A Conundrum

http://growingupscottish.blogspot.com/2011/09/style-me-pretty-conundrum.html

September 29, 2011. Style Me Pretty: A Conundrum. If so I would love to hear about them! Here is what I came up with on Polyvore. Thanks from the clueless bride to be. September 29, 2011 at 10:19 AM. Wow, that dress is so sexy and you look AMAZING! I love the accessories you picked, not need to add too many, the dress (and you! Stands out on its own! October 2, 2011 at 6:10 PM. I love the dress! Id definitely wear your hair up with earrings and a bracelet, just like you showed! October 6, 2011 at 6:55 AM.

Girls Who Wear Pearls: March 2011

http://growingupscottish.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

March 27, 2011. Belt: Grandmothers (I wish I would have gotten a picture of the back of the belt.it's pretty cool). Please excuse the grainy pictures and the dead dog toy in the background behind my legs. Also, the front of my dress has ruffles. You just can't really see them. :o(. I am so upset with ourselves for not trying out this place sooner. It was such AMAZING food and wine! And did I mention the entertainment? Yes, there was also live entertainment! 1 Grilled Lamb Chops with rioja demi-glace.

Shopping and Spreadsheets: Pre-1st day of work post

http://omglydia.blogspot.com/2011/09/pre-1st-day-of-work-post.html

Thursday, September 29. Pre-1st day of work post. This is a quickly written post because the Starbucks I'm at is about to close and I'm too poor for Internet at home just yet. Just a few more days though until I start work! Dressy, or too. Casual, or stand out too. I have a feeling I'm gonna spend a lot of time in my closet this weekend regardless, but any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated too :). Labels: black zebra flats. September 29, 2011 at 10:01 PM. In my case, I always prefer to overdr...

March has always been my favorite month of the year, because it is my birthday month! World Market, Moes, CVS. yes I get excited about CVS.) Last but not least, March brings warm weather! This year February tried to one-up March in that respect but I still expect great, warm, sunny things from my favorite month. A Journey to Style.

Closet Craft Kitchen Savings. A style blog, plus some! Friday, March 4, 2011. Shirt: Macys, Belt: BCBG, Pants: J. Crew, Shoes: Mudd). If there's one thing I learned from the remix, it's that I could use more colored shoes and belts. I like this outfit but how fun would it be with red shoes, or even a red necklace for crying out loud. My sister is visiting this weekend and we are hitting the mall! This weekend's shopping (! Mission is to find some color! Check back with me next week and wish me luck!

Closet Craft Kitchen Savings. A style blog, plus some! Monday, March 14, 2011. OOTD: Pop of Pink. Shirt: J. Crew, Skirt: J. Crew. First off: I'm loving this belt! It is so cheery and so fun! How was your weekend? Mine was one of those awesome ones where you don't really do anything, but still manage to feel somewhat productive (grocery shopping, laundry, cooking). I also cooked a ton! I think I might be part Thai, I could seriously eat it every day and not get tired of it! Yeah for guilty tv pleasures!

Closet Craft Kitchen Savings: EBEW: Polka Dots

Closet Craft Kitchen Savings. A style blog, plus some! Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Dress: Banana Republic, Sweater: J. Crew, Tights: Hue, Shoes: Mudd). I had a major hankering for polka dot tights all winter. I never bought any because I didn't see the perfect pair, and all the nearly perfect pairs cost too much! And then my awesome sister used part of her gift card to get them for me! No more perfect day to debut silver sparkly dots than the polka dot day at Everybody Everywhere. March 8, 2011 at 2:16 PM.

Closet Craft Kitchen Savings. A style blog, plus some! Thursday, March 3, 2011. Here's a recap of all 30 outfits, plus a couple cute fillers of the dog:. Most Worn Item: My white and black cardigans, and the gray pencil skirt. No surprise with the staple cardigans, but I am really enjoying the pencil skirts. I became a lot more comfortable with belting things! I don't feel like I did a great job of remixing the 3 dresses I picked. I really do like scarves and they really can make the outfit! I love heari...

Our self-seeking and proud attitudes make it difficult to find the gate. Jesus is the gate and when we surrender to Him our load becomes light. We can stop trying to build a self-image and surrender to God. When we are on the strait and narrow path, we will let go of our baggage, take up our cross daily and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). Growing Up Sharp

Friday, May 20, 2011. Four Sharps in a bathroom. We welcomed the weekend - and celebrated Susannah's half birthday - with a gluten-free pizza dinner, then hit the streets for a family bike ride. In between the two, all four of us crammed into the upstairs bathroom to brush our teeth (can't ride a bike with pizza breath, now can we? And the minute I saw us in the mirror, my mind went straight to this photo, taken just about a year ago:. My, what a difference a year makes. Where did my babies go? Now for t...
