individual marriage & family therapy

When we feel stuck, depressed, anxious confused or angry we look within ourselves for something wrong. However, often our dilemmas are tied to one or more of our relationships with family members. As a family therapist treating individuals or whole families, I help people understand themselves by helping them understand their relationships. I strive not only to help people feel better but to achieve a kind of personal growth that is highly inclusive of their family even while it aims at individuation.

Life of a new mom and lessons learned. Asymp; 2 Comments. Sometimes I’m just blank. Like there are so many different things I could be thinking about that my brain just shuts down. And nothing coming in or going out is making the days harder than usual. Being mom requires endless amounts of creativity and when I’m blocked it’s not good for anyone- even the cat is annoyed. I shut down, close up shop- I’m gone. I leave the world- I’m overwhelmed and I can’t open my eyes to the stress. How can I just let go?
