Two interactive illustrators who explore complex subjects through play. Tuesday, 7 May 2013. We ran a little workshop over the kids weekend at Pickmeup a few weeks ago. It was a 'science sculpture play-station' and explored how we can use a limited amount of materials to explain a scientific idea. You pick a card or think of your own nugget of scientific information, take 5 materials for the carefully selected play station boxes and as fast as you can create your sculpture. Wednesday, 2 January 2013. WHAT CHARLENE DID NEXT? WORKSHOPS AT IKEA WITH GRUMPY IN MANCHESTER :D. I was so happy when I got ask by Grumpy. To do these workshops to celebrate 25 years Birthday of IKEA in UK. It was a few days before Halloween so the workshops were all planned to be quite spooky. Everything was that we used in the workshop were made from the scraps from Grumpy and products from IKEA. I also did a Halloween costume making workshop for Grumpy in October.
