Grumpy Cunts: Jack Black.
http://grumpycunts.blogspot.com/2008/03/jack-black.html
Wednesday, 12 March 2008. Given the recent furore over the incoming Ben Stiller directed film, ‘ Tropic Thunder. 8217; I decided it was about time to vent my pure hatred for the ‘comedy’ actor Jack Black. One of the most gut wrenchingly horrible persons ever to grace the cinema screen, and a person who, instead of taking the piss out of war, should be sent to the frontlines so the armies of Allah can pulverise his soulless body. In this image we see Jack leading his victims out of the town to his dungeon.
Grumpy Cunts: Buses
http://grumpycunts.blogspot.com/2008/03/buses.html
Thursday, 13 March 2008. I think I'll start this off with an anecdote. Picture the scene at 6pm at Woking. I've just had an afternoon of shorthand at university (death by squiggles), have had to walk back to the station in the rain, spent 20 minutes on a train looking out into the gloomy, depressive weather outside and have just walked to the bus station expecting a bus to take me home in about 5 minutes. Why should I pay £4 for a return ticket for such shoddy service? My girlfriend also had a bad experi...
Grumpy Cunts: Sleepless nights
http://grumpycunts.blogspot.com/2008/03/sleepless-nights.html
Friday, 14 March 2008. What seems to make it worse is the fact the next days or if you’re even unluckier for the next couple of days you will be tired and just want to sleep all the time. Why would your body do this to you? It actually makes no sense. Why on some nights is it so easy to fall asleep? Could it be the mind playing tricks on you or the fact you just fancy torturing yourself for a little bit. I feel incredibly sorry for anyone who would suffers from insomnia. Taking a quote from the Fightclub.
Grumpy Cunts: The False Perception
http://grumpycunts.blogspot.com/2008/03/false-perception.html
Friday, 14 March 2008. I hate how some people earn more money for doing less and some people earn less money for doing more. The media presents footballers and so called athletes as role models for younger generations to aspire to. This sickens me when society’s real heroes are our doctors, fire-fighters and policemen. I always thought that sport was a bit like game, for fun with no politics and no discrimination. It’s just a suggestion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). VOTE FAT ARSE JEANS TODAY.
Grumpy Cunts: Idiots at the cinema
http://grumpycunts.blogspot.com/2008/03/idiots-at-cinema.html
Wednesday, 12 March 2008. Idiots at the cinema. I am not a fan of going to the cinema often. I go on the odd occassion but never enough to make a person who is into films. There's a reason why. There are some many idiots who actually go there and make everyone else's viewing of a film annoyingly frustrating. Last month I went to see Juno at the Odeon. And yesterday, I went to see the Muse DVD. I did wonder at that point if he had stumbled into the wrong film with 3D glasses hoping to see U23D. Who wants ...

I'm Not A Critic!: January 2008
http://imnotacritic.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
I'm Not A Critic! Monday, 28 January 2008. Drinking in the Fear and the Fluoride! There’s not been much humour in this blog so far, it’s been more like some sort of lecture about health and safety! Oh and another thing, when I got back to my university flat room, I found a nice welcoming letter from the TV Licensing people saying that I haven’t declared whether or not I have a TV in my room. I think it’s amazing! Dead Kids – ‘Modern Day Bums’. At the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) in London. If you...

I'm Not A Critic! Friday, 23 May 2008. Storming The Charts #7: The Ting Tings. That's Not My Name. May 2007 brought about the first single release of little known Manchester duo The Ting Tings, Who with the help of Radio 1 and NME have just re-released the single after signing a major record deal with Sony BMG, which is sure to be a hot contender for the No. 1 spot this sunday. Tom Clarke once said that music reviewers constantly try to discover the meaning of lyrics are wasting their time. "I mean i...

I'm Not A Critic! Monday, 30 June 2008. Glastonbury 2008: Review #1. Dead as the Dodo. Rain, Wellingtons and Ponchos are just some of the words that are usually thrown around when talking about Glastonbury. However, I think Great-Fucking-Music should be the phrase on the tip of everyone's tongue, especially when talking about this years' festival. I feel Michael and Emily Eavis have put last years' problems behind them and started a-fresh, which includes a 25% increase on the site size, now covering an a...

I'm Not A Critic! Tuesday, 26 August 2008. Album Review - Bloc Party. Bloc Party have truly jumped into the big league and are ready to become the band they always promised to be. Come 2010 and album number four should be a decade defining masterpiece, touching the Amazon rain forest of course though. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm Not A Critic! Wednesday, 19 November 2008. So what in the holy hell is going on. #2. Evening chaps, so now things are underway again, I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at the scene and see where we all stand. Possibly the most exciting gig that I've ever looked forward to. That's pretty much all I have to say for now, apart from check out a rather tasty young fellow in Surkin. If you haven't already. His 'Next of Kin' EP is by the power of ra, HOT! Mr Lee. out! Links to this post.

Saturday, 9 July 2011. On an island that any fool can find in the middle of a vast ocean, there stands a tree which also any fool can find. Disappear and he will not be able to find it. however, the Treasury does not disappear forever; if the seeker is patient and persistent and returns time and time again to the island without expecting anything at all, the possibility of finding the treasure remains. Grumpy C*nt | Seeing Life the Other Way
What Do You Want To Know? They Don’t Even Care If Other People See Your Resume. February 10, 2015 | grumps. Truthfully, I would love someone to see my resume. But those individuals are expected to directly benefit from my skills. If other people who are looking for the same occupancy see my competencies, I don’t like it. It’s actually irritating when people criticize your resume. It’s even annoying that many of us don’t think that job searches are supposed to be private. Tips to being a Friendly Grump!
Grumpy Cunts
Friday, 14 March 2008. Unfortunately for Elizabeth, the paparazzi caught her having a cheeky peek at Phillip's duke. Here in England we seem to have a certain reverence for members of the older generation. Be it because they were in some war or something, or the fact that we just can't help but love a bag of wrinkles that pisses itself. And there is one old person that rises up above all the others. She is to geriatrics what Christ is to christians. She is the queen. The trouble is, this whole idea of ha...
The Grumpy Curmudgeon
An angry old man’s comments on social issues. Everybody Out Of The Sand! Posted on July 10th, 2008. By The Grumpy Curmudgeon. I was peacefully eating breakfast before the TV the other morning, the set tuned to Today. Suddenly there began a report so shocking I nearly spilled my entire bowl of Farina as I jumped out of my seat to grab the Tivo’s remote. I quickly rewound to the beginning of the piece to make certain I hadn’t misheard it. The reporter, Natalie Morales, began,. At the end. I didn’t. The rep...

The Grumpy Cyclist
Thursday, 21 November 2013. Getting off my high saddle. In a horrible couple of weeks for cycling in the capital, and what seems to be a concerted rear-guard action by the mayor and others to deflect attention away from the state of the roads for cycling by comments about lawless cyclists wearing headphones, it is difficult not to get really angry. Firstly, the tweet was by @thecustodysgt. And is clearly by a member of the police, but tweeted in a personal capacity. The tweet that caused "offence" was.
