Grumpy Old Business IT. Aged information systems designer/developer sounds off. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. I am a big fan of logic of many types. I understand predicate logic, boolean logic and the rigorous application of value functions to alternatives, giving logic a solid place in decision-making. This is on my mind because I keep running into a stupid conclusion that was arrived at logically. Mercifully, this particular stupidity rarely ruins my day, but it certainly ruins the days of many others.

The place to come and have a moan. July 30, 2011. I got home on Thursday to find the PC in the front room not working, WTF I though, after giving it the one fingered solute several times I had to resort to the old method of watching films. Yep you guessed it, had to get up off my arse and find a DVD, press the eject button on the player, insert DVD and finally return to my place on the sofa. Needless to say I only managed to do that once, before heading to bed. Back to the same, find DVD, eject, etc.
