Portland interior designers and architects showcased their moonlighting gigs to the public at Urban Studio in the Pearl. We loved to see what our colleagues craft in their spare time and learned so much about tools and techniques for handmade goods. Today I spent at least half the day working on issues in the building, including working with a contractor to re-pave the driveway, calling the plumber to get the boiler ready for the winter, and dealing with owners that break rules and don’t pay their bills. Never a dull moment! And I still have to finish my blog!
