April 6, 2014. I did our tax return yesterday, via TurboTax online. If you haven’t used TurboTax before, it leads you, step by step, through various types of income, deductions and credits you might be eligible for. One of the items I passed by was tax credits for purchasing electric or alternative-fuel vehicles. If you don’t see anything, scroll down). My employer does not participate in either option, but hey, it’s a public school district. There’s no tax benefit to them. They alrea...So I’m out ...

Kids and Allowances: What Do They Pay For? August 11, 2014. Photo by Mike Baehr, CC BY-NC-SA 2.0. Yes, we give our kids an allowance. Yes, they also have chores – but the allowance is not tied to the chores (they lose electronics or other privileges if chores are a problem). Right now, our 9-year-old gets $5 per week, 12-year-old gets $10 per week, and 14-year-old gets $15 per week. How do they get it? We’ve also started giving a seasonal clothing allowance for the older two, although I’m sti...OK, that ...

Sara's Blog Extravaganza: Coleman's 1st Spring Break
http://sarajaneanderson.blogspot.com/2011/03/colemans-1st-spring-break.html
Welcome to my world! Lots of pictures and good times. Feel free to leave your mark. Monday, March 21, 2011. Coleman's 1st Spring Break. For Spring Break, we went to Grandpappy Point on Lake Texoma. This was Coleman's first trip. We sent 2 days fishing with David's parents. Coleman rode well in the boat. He wore a life jacket in case he fell out. We didn't catch any fish, but we had a lot of fun. Coleman is ready for the boat. Coleman is safe with his daddy. (I can't rotate the pic.).

Welcome to my world! Lots of pictures and good times. Feel free to leave your mark. Sunday, May 01, 2011. We also went to Jacksonville Beach for opening weekend. It strange to think about swimming in April. I got to see a friend of mine from camp, Vicki Carter, who had recently moved to the area. I hadn't seen her in about 5 years! Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey! Quijibo and I met up for lunch. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Links of Extreme Excitement. Sara and David's Wedding Web Page.

Sara's Blog Extravaganza: More skin business
http://sarajaneanderson.blogspot.com/2014/10/more-skin-business.html
Welcome to my world! Lots of pictures and good times. Feel free to leave your mark. Thursday, October 02, 2014. Today is the worst her skin has been in a while. She has gone 3 days without a bath. Could that be the reason? These pictures were taken after her bath this afternoon. The top right picture is more stratches from her fingernails than eczema. She has her 4 month checkup next week. I have been waiting to talk to the doctor about it again without making a special trip. Links of Extreme Excitement.

In Which Resistance Is Futile. August 28, 2015. Yes, this is a blog post. Yes, it’s been over a year since the last one. Why? I’m not entirely sure. So why am I posting now? Because I have something to say! Why don’t I say it on Facebook or Tumblr? Because it’s longish and fits here content-wise (my Tumblr. Is full of Lumberjanes. And Loki and scouting stuff and cats). So here you go. So I cleaned the kitchen and made the salsa, one baby step at a time, and got it done, and then I still had time and ener...
