Finding Momentum: June 2007
http://gsorunner.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
This is a journal of my progress, obstacles, triumphs, and trials on the path to a better me. Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Yesterday, I did two miles, walking and running on the track. It was still hot, but I guess it's gonna be hot for a while, so I can probably stop complaining about it. This afternoon, I will push myself beyond three miles. I need to go to mapmyrun. Right now and pick a route. A mile or two isn't going to cut it any more. 262, here I come. Monday, June 25, 2007. Goals and Getting There.
Finding Momentum: Brownie Points
http://gsorunner.blogspot.com/2007/12/brownie-points.html
This is a journal of my progress, obstacles, triumphs, and trials on the path to a better me. Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Even though the weather is BEAUTIFUL here, I can't seem to get back into my running routine. It's just one of those ruts, I'll be out of it soon enough and on with running. This morning, I stopped at Bruegger's for a bagel. Yes, I know that they have 400 calories, but I can't resist. I have eaten two this week and it's only Tuesday! I Run for Fun. Finding Momentum: November 2007
http://gsorunner.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
This is a journal of my progress, obstacles, triumphs, and trials on the path to a better me. Monday, November 26, 2007. First of all, I got a nice little thank you note from Scott at Off n' Running, following my volunteer efforts at the Gobbler. Very nice. Even nicer, a $25 gift certificate was included. Sweet! I'll be fine. I might walk some, which I would do anyway. I might be slow, which I would be anyway. It will be cold and I will finish- those two I know for sure. Friday, November 23, 2007. After ...

This is a journal of my progress, obstacles, triumphs, and trials on the path to a better me. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Warmest Wishes for a Healthy and Happy 2010! Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Dipping A Toe in the Water. Obviously you can't just go from being a total work-aholic for two years to being a runner and workout machine overnight. It takes some time, you've gotta run a little before you can run a lot, and in my case, you have to walk a little before you can run a little. Hello, Old Friend.
Finding Momentum: October 2007
http://gsorunner.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
This is a journal of my progress, obstacles, triumphs, and trials on the path to a better me. Monday, October 29, 2007. Shaking in My Shoes. I am definitely feeling some nerves for this weekend. It's been a long journey for me, punctuated by surgery, record high temperatures in Greensboro, and new friendships. I know that I skipped some workouts and cut others short. I have to be honest about that. I hope that the work I have done has been enough. I think that's what everyone hopes for. A little backgrou...

Finding Momentum
This is a journal of my progress, obstacles, triumphs, and trials on the path to a better me. Friday, June 11, 2010. It seems that I get this running bug every six months. I run a bit, I stop running for months, the cycle repeats. Yesterday, I ran about three miles with the Chubby Beagle. Looking at my dailymile.com log, it seems that I have been steady for at least the last three weeks. Maybe this is the end to the stop, start, repeat cycle. Saturday, January 02, 2010.
