Otter Mama: June 2010
http://ottermama.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Can someone really be that mean? I had a friend ask me yesterday if I knew of anyone who's life was better because of her. I was a little shocked by the question and why she was so depressed that she was thinking this. Then the answer came to me in the next sentence of the email.her ex! Her ex (asshole) said some not so nice things and had the nerve to say that everyone who knows her is embarrassed to know her and worse off for having known her. Wow. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Otter Mama: September 2010

Wednesday, September 1, 2010. The end of the Project season. Well summer vacation has come to a close and with that comes the end of the Otterness "project" season. My husband is very good at keeping himself more than busy on his three months off for summer break. In fact, he keeps his calendar darn right full! This year a lot of projects that were put on the list were my requests. Tongue and groove floor boards from the barn, refinished for the flooring in both closets. It turned out amazing and I am so...

124; Comments RSS. So, What *Was* Wrong With the Car? In Their Words Wednesday – Serengeti, Zanzibar and Tarangire. In Their Words Wednesday – Arusha National Park. Posted on August 9, 2015. As I alluded to in a previous post, being mzungu (white) in Tanzania comes with some challenges. A few weeks later, Grace and I went shopping. We were able to buy a squeegee for 4,000 Tsh (about $2). That’s when it feels ridiculous. All of this makes what happened today interesting. A woman came to our gate. She ...

The Blog of Two Six. January 20, 2012. MLB Hall of Fame Voting 2012. I've been trying to figure out a gateway back into blogging at least semi-. Consistently in 2012 and I think I found a way to at least get the first blog entry of the year off my back. I want to start recording my MLB Hall of Fame voting every year so that I know how I compare to what the baseball writers are doing over the years. Next year I plan to do this before the results are released. Personally, I am over the steroid stuff. Just ...

The Blog of Two Six: I've been missing my grandma lately
http://boatdrinks26.blogspot.com/2010/09/ive-been-missing-my-grandma-lately.html
The Blog of Two Six. September 25, 2010. I've been missing my grandma lately. I've really been missing my Grandma K. lately. I don't know how else to put into words what I am feeling other than that. Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure part of why it's been stronger than normal lately was Evie's baptism last weekend. I really wish she could have met Evie. While thinking about her I have been recalling many of my favorite stories, one of which I wanted to share. Her favorite after Natalie was born was Dog ...

The Blog of Two Six: MLB Hall of Fame Voting 2015

The Blog of Two Six. January 4, 2015. MLB Hall of Fame Voting 2015. This year, again, I am using all ten spots. In my opinion, it’s pretty hard not to right now. Based on space, I have only left Bonds/Clemens on from those tied fairly directly to steroids. To me, their awards, stats, etc. are too exceptional to leave off. Who’s to blame? My 2015 MLB Hall of Fame vote is as follows:. My guess at players with =60% of the vote this year (1/4/15):. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Happy New Year 2014.
