Girl Scout Troop 6343. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Om Sumday, March 13, the Troop hosted a cookie both at the local Lowe's store. It was a very successful day in that the girls sold over 230 boxes of cookies in a 4-hour time span. The girls are quite the cookie-sellers! Angela, Mati and Zoe are ready to greet their customers. Lincoln's Pilgrimage is a Boy Scout tradition whereby the Boy Scouts hike from Lincoln's New Salem to Springfield. The Girl Scouts are invited to participate in the wreath laying ceremony. Sunday, July 17, 2011. While visiting the Alabama coast we took a day trip to Dauphin Island, a barrier island in the mouth of the Mobile Bay. We accessed the island via a short ferry ride from Fort Morgan. It was interesting to see all the natural gas platforms in the Bay.
