Burbage Brook | Photography Blog by GT
https://gtphotographs.wordpress.com/2015/08/14/burbage-brook
Path To Hanbury Church. Photography Blog by GT. Photography Blog by GT. Landscapes and other images. August 14, 2015. Click the image for a larger version). Burbage Brook has carved out the picturesque Padley gorge, which is deservedly popular with photographers. I was up in Sheffield, so I took the opportunity, after work, to head up to the area to see what i could get. Alas, the light did not cooperate, but there’s always the chance of a few long exposure images of the brook itself. Tags : Burbage Brook.

Path To Hanbury Church. Photography Blog by GT. Photography Blog by GT. Landscapes and other images. August 8, 2015. Click the image for a larger version). I headed up to Hanbury Church in the evening, not sure of what I’d get because of the full cloud cover. Patience is a virtue, however – as I sat on the hill looking out over the view, the light improved, and I was able to capture a few images of the church and surrounding area. This is the view back into Dove Dale, from part way up Thorpe Cloud, as the sun rises and the warm light hits the sides of the valley. The valley is quite steep. In the winter, the sun is so low it does not hit the valley floor. Photography stuff: 12-24mm lens at 12mm, 1/25 sec at f/9.0, tripod. Tags : Dove Dale. Seat With A View.
