We jumping into the van and picked up a Pastor and his wife and head up the mountain to their village, Chichalom. It is approximate at 40 min drive up a windy mountain road. Lunch was spaghetti. A personal and professional reflection of my experience in Guatemala. As a teacher educator and researcher, I'm using this blog to reflect on how this experience influences my thoughts on teaching, children, and how we train teachers. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me to complete my final week of teaching this week. I got sick with a cold this weekend and it turned into stomach issues (surprise! In the capital city, and a sizable earthquake that woke me up the other night.

Friends of the Trip. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Well, our official Guatemalan journey has ended, but has it? Although we may not be in the country our adventure is still going. Many of us are still processing all the things we have seen, and all of us are reflecting on each days happenings, and the relationships built. I want to thank God for this whole opportunity, we were blessed to have had such a safe journey. No luggage lost, flights on time, ferries caught, and no car accidents ( thank you Eddy!
