Bill and Zoe go walkabout. Mt Field National Park. Puss-puss our temporary pet cat (and hostess) in front of Hamlet Downs. A flock of sulphur crested cockatoos foraging in a field. On to Strahan via Queenstown. Unlike Queenstown, New Zealand which conjures up images of a ski/extreme sports resort, Queenstown, Tasmania is a desolate and dusty mining town with just the hint of foliage returning to its bleak mountainsides. This is one tourist attraction that we just had to investigate:. This is what we found.
