Jul 7, 2015. There is a Rue St Denis in downtown New York. Rue St. Denis. Is a very unique vintage store. All the clothes are what is called dead stock, meaning. They have never been worn. Riccardo and Jean-Paul are also great stylists and help clients to put together amazing outfits with great enthusiasm and skill. Definitely worth a visit! July 7, 2015 at 4:55 PM. Jul 30, 2015. New York Central Art Supply. Who would not jump at the chance to buy their back to school supply or painting materials at a 110 years old art supply store in the East Village? Jean Michel Basquiat did, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol did, as do countless others. The shop was opened in 1905 by Benjamin Steinberg, a native Russian.
