aWay Around: Angkor Wat
http://awayaround.blogspot.com/2007/04/angkor-wat.html
One persons way around and about the world. Sunday, April 29, 2007. Exploring the various rooms, climbing stairs. And staying dry. Despite the large number of tourists the temple was so large that it was fairly easy to find secluded spots. Away from the masses. Carved into the temple and the 'Tomb Raider' temple (where the movie was filmed apparently)which has been largely been overrun with large trees. Growing from the walls. It was like listening to a giddy 80 year-old man. View my complete profile.

Hittin Africa: June 2005
http://hittinafrica.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Last year at this time, I was tackling the quarter life crisis head on in Asia. Now, the saga continues to Kenya and Tanzania for some volunteer work, a mountain trek, and, without a doubt, a whole lotta introspection. Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Life at Mama Safi's. In the mornings, the wooden doors and windows are opened to bring light into the house. The rooms stay quite dark until the sun is let in, which has allowed me to sleep up to ten hours some nights!
