A don't panic log. Saturday, June 23, 2012. I've been away. Took a break from writing this thing. Not on purpose. Life just happens. Lots has happened in the last few weeks. Lets see. A don't panic log. Sunday, August 12, 2012. I thought I'd have something to say about the Olympics. But I don't. I strained to find something to say. I watched. The Fab Five were Fab. McKayley Maroney should have behaved better but she didn't. She's just a kid. Oh well. I have no issue with the Flying Squirrel's hair. Who cares about her hair? She defies gravity. I have no beef with Usain Bolt for his perceived arrogance or confidence or misguided means of celebrating. Whatever it is. At the '68 Olympics.

A don't panic log. Friday, March 30, 2012. Hippos and zebras and penises, oh my! I'm on a short vacation with my kids in San Diego. We are staying at a fancy schmancy hotel/resort. And I love it. Morocco or bust! 2008
In the autumn of 2008 Dawn and myself undertook an overland expedition to Morocco. This was our first trip of this kind and was intended to be a trial run for a bigger journey at some time in the future. We had been inspired by Dawns brother Gary, who had recently returned from a safari holiday in Kenya. Whilst doing some research I discovered the Africa Overland Network.
