August 12, 2014. Another issue I’ve had for quite some time: Apple Maps. I’d love to love them, but they make that really hard. A year ago, while we were on a miniTugaTour. We came across the Alqueva Dam and Lake. One of the largest dams and artificial lakes (250 km2) in Western Europe. Wikipedia. A year has gone by, the dam is still there, the water very much so as well. Has Apple Maps fixed this one in the mean time? Maybe getting ready for iOS 8 and Yosemite? Same app, different views.

August 29, 2014. I decided to check the GitHub store. One of these days, prompted by a tweet, or an email, announcing they had the octocat stickers. Back on the shop. I had to get some of those. And, while at it, why not get a nice mug to have my tea at the office? The stickers are extra-strong, it seems like they’re made of some sort of plastic-like substance, sturdy little things. If you’re wondering about the wallpaper on the iPhone, I came upon it on dribbble. It’s made by Mr. Jason Long.
