The Arciniegas: October 2010
http://israelarciniega.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 8, 2010. Every Monday we attempt to go to Lapsit at the library- we make it about every other week. They read stories and sing songs and then have playgroup. Katelyn absolutely loves singing and jumps up and down through most of the songs. She's getting more into the toys and the other babies every time we go. Credits: LissaEDesignz-Picnic in the Park, Sarah DuVall- Picnic in the Park, Just So Scrappy- Backyard BBQ. We went to a Houston Symphony show at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The Arciniegas: Introducing James
http://israelarciniega.blogspot.com/2011/12/introducing-james.html
Thursday, December 1, 2011. Two weeks ago today, I was still pregnant. It's amazing how one day can change your life. Baby New" is now officially James Israel Arciniega. He was born on November 17th weighing seven pounds, 10 ounces (almost a pound bigger than Katelyn). Here he is all puffy just minutes after delivery. Israel got there, we swung by our house to pick up the bag, and drove to the hospital in The Woodlands. We got there at 3:35 and James arrived at 4:11! December 1, 2011 at 12:00 PM. Decembe...

The Arciniegas: March 2010
http://israelarciniega.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 21, 2010. Katelyn probably won't have an older sibling. That passes on old clothing, but her mother dresses her in some pretty old clothes. Me at six months. The double chin has stuck around. Katelyn (3 months) in the same dress 28 years later. She actually got a lot of compliments on it at church. Katelyn loves her teddy bear mobile. I love Katelyn's smile. I have a cute husband too. I love the way he's looking at her. The photographer loved this one. So typical of Katelyn right now. Monda...

The Arciniegas: April 2011
http://israelarciniega.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29, 2011. We started Easter morning out in true Arciniega fashion- in our pajamas. After reading a "Jesus book," Katelyn dove into her Easter basket. It was filled with sidewalk chalk, Easter eggs filled with jelly beans and Goldfish crackers, packages of mini cookies, bubble bath, a V-tech phone, a lift the flap book, and play-dough toys. She examined each item very carefully. Katelyn loves the books by this author. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. The Rest of March. Katelyn loved wearing this he...

The Arciniegas: The Rest of March
http://israelarciniega.blogspot.com/2011/04/rest-of-march.html
Wednesday, April 6, 2011. The Rest of March. Here's my attempt at staying current on the blog. Here's a glimpse of what's been going on with us. Katelyn finally got her first haircut. She did a great job- didn't cry, fuss, or even wiggle that much. I guess that's why they put a TV at every station. The big kids played laser tag while the little ones played in the kiddie section. A leprachaun left behind his box with all sorts of treats including "green potion.". My big achievement for the night was makin...

The Arciniegas: April 2010
http://israelarciniega.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. Israel has been off of work the last two weeks. He took the rest of his paternity leave, and we scheduled my gall bladder surgery at the beginning of the two weeks. I've been recovering, and he's been playing Super Dad and Husband. He's amazing, but I could write a whole post about that. Letting Katelyn feel the flowers. She had real dirt on her feet after this. My mom came along to see the beautiful flowers and to help take pictures. It was great having her with us. I think the r...

Wednesday, March 9, 2011. The New Year- Okay Two Plus Months Into It. As I've said before, when I get computer time, I usually scrapbook. Today I figured I would blog since I haven't done it in three months! I do the scrapbooking to document life, but I wanted to share our precious memories with all of you that live so far away. Maybe, some day I will go backward and blog about Christmas. While at my sister, Rachel's house, we went to the park. Katelyn loves the slide. Becca and Katelyn before the baptis...

Morgan Mischief: April 2011
http://morganmischief.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. Time in Titisee (Our 37th Anniversary). You might have gathered that we came home before DJ's days off were over! We decided we wanted to see it again- -GREEN! I loved all the green, but I have to say that in places the pine trees are such a dark green, they almost look black. That led to a discussion about why the black forest is called the black forest. Was it because of the dark green color or was it because the forest is so dense that it seems dark when you are in it? The mo...
