http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/2010/05/im-back.html
I'm finally somewhat back in the swing of the things. I've been away for awhile and a lot has happened.the best of which is we are one more month down in this deployment. :) I feel like I'm reaching the peak and getting ready for the downhill slope.although not quite in the homestretch yet. I have lots of catching up to do. I have big plans for my blog and some really great new pictures. Also I'd like to say welcome to any new followers! I get so excited everytime I get a new follower! I will pass it on.

Requires Heavy Lifting: About Me
http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
I'm a twenty-something, dance enthusiast, volunteer, blogging novice and Marine spouse originally from the Poconos. I went to school in Scranton (shout out to all The Office Fans) when I met my Marine and my life changed forever. We've been married a little less than 2 years but together over 4. We are currently at our first duty station and enduring our first deployment to Afghanistan. A League of their Own. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Riding the Roller Coaster. The Life of an Army Wife.

Requires Heavy Lifting: Butterflies
http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/2010/06/butterflies.html
Okso I'm not a daily blogger. I think I realized I'm not going to be a high achiever when it comes to posting but I do what I can and it makes me happy. Can you hear me? And then it ends. Early Saturday morning I headed over to base for my time slot. Saying I was excited and nervous would be an understatement. I had total butterflies in my stomach. Not to mention I got all dolled up for the occasion; at 6:30am on a Saturday! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Riding the Roller Coaster. Living the Life o...

Requires Heavy Lifting: Memorial Day
http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/2010/05/memorial-day.html
My husband and I have been reflecting on Memorial Day this weekend in our correspondence and conversations. As a family, we truly honor our military and their sacrifices on a regular basis, but our feelings are magnified this Memorial Day with this current deployment. 8220;I thank God for my life,. For the stars and stripes. May freedom forever fly, let it ring. Salute the ones who died. The ones that gave their lives. So we don’t have to sacrifice. All the things we love.” Zac Brown Band. Requires Heavy Lifting: My Title
http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/p/my-title.html
Heavy Lift… If there was a job description for a military spouse it would absolutely include requirements for heavy lifting; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Figuratively and literally, this military wife life “Requires Heavy Lifting.” I thought it was the perfect title. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Riding the Roller Coaster. The Life of an Army Wife. Requires Heavy Lifting: Sad songs say so much
http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/2010/04/sad-songs-say-so-much.html
Sad songs say so much. Hmm…I think I need to work on making my posts a little more upbeat. It's just where I’ve been lately in my thoughts, but I promise I will make an effort to blog about the good things too! Labels: Getting through it. I do the same thing. I listen to sad songs all the time. I actually find them to be somewhat healing. My deployment soundtrack is Con Te Partiro by Andrea Boccelli. It literally translates to with you, I will go so it fits. April 19, 2010 at 11:11 AM. Q, La, and Gooner.

Requires Heavy Lifting: Slacking...
http://requiresheavylifting.blogspot.com/2010/05/i-know-i-know.html
I think having it with me will also remind me to take pictures (I always forget to take out my camera). I know there are companies. That make large cardboard cutouts and pillows of husbands and daddies that are really neat. However, I wanted it to be personal, creative and mainly have something that was easier for me to carry around. I had a good pic of my hubby printed in a 5x7 for his face then printed a template for a paper-doll. Maybe if I can get my act together I'll post some photos.
