Tuesday, 27 April 2010. Here is a sympathy card I made for a friend. These cards are seldom easy to make but make such a difference for the person receiving them. For this card I stamped Upsy Daisy and then spritzed it with heaps of water and left it to dry - I did a few of them at once and they are all different! Quilted Top Note Cards. Monday, 31 January 2011. Here is a fancy fold card for a swap - hopefully Sharon has received it by now :-). There are some prima flowers in the centre panel too. The kids are back to school today - I hope they have a great day! I'm doing the happy dance! Sunday, 30 January 2011. I LOVE this stamp set - yes I know I say that a lot but why would I buy a set I didn't like - I have enough STUFF! This card is for a swap - the theme was a Thank You card. Friday, 28 January 2011. Monday, 8 March 2010. The Cubs went fishing and Mr C caught the biggest fish caught by a child - his leader bet him but only by 14grams! He had a great time but then the learning curve really started - what were we going to do with it next? Happy Birthday from the Doctor. He also loved his presents - a pizza stone, Terry Pratchet book and Star Trek on DVD - what more could a man want? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday, 28 February 2011. Last month I 'won' a challenge on one of my mailing lists - my Easter card was chosen and everyone else had to send their cards to me - here are two that I have received. The bunny is made from punches with a fluffy tail and the little girl is gorgeously coloured. Sunday, 27 February 2011. Sunday, 27 February 2011. Sorry for the lack of posts this week - I have been dealing with the tragedy unfolding in Christchurch which is where I grew up and where my family and friends live. Thankfully everyone is alright - but there are still a couple of friends I haven't heard from. Our families have headed away from the city for a few days to get a bit of a break but they are seriously over it now. Or make some cards and donate them to Christchurch Victim Support. Here is a card I stitched for my Pop - he used to drive around in a big blue tractor like this but now he is in a rest home and so I hope he likes this card . and that it takes him back to when he was a young man again. Saturday, 13 February 2010. As you may know I am a GirlGuiding Leader - with the youngest group, 5 and 6 year olds, called Pippins. I love it!
