Monday, September 29, 2014. Bringing down the sunflower. We had a good run with the huge sunflower this summer but we had a pretty windy storm a few weeks ago and the plant just hasnt recovered fully from it. So the kids and I snipped a few good sunflowers off and saved it for a bouquet inside. The sunflower stalk was pretty tough but Ben managed to help me push it down. :-).
