Parsnip and sweet potato crisps were being made while everyone discussed fat and sugar contents of the bought vegetable crisps against homemade ones, the homemade ones contained less than half the fat of the bought crisps so have a go at making your own. Per serving 73 kcal. 21g fat (0.3g saturated). 2 tsp sunflower oil. 1) Preheat oven to 160C/fan 140C/gas mark 3. 3) Arrange parsnip strips in single layers on 3 baking trays.

Makes one large Foil container or two small pizza. 4oz/115g strong plain flour. 189; sachet easy-blend dried yeast. 200ml Hand-hot warm water (you may not need all of this). Add pine nuts, sunflower seeds, herbs etc. to change the texture and taste. 1 ½ tbsp olive oil (optional). Place flour in a bowl and stir in olive oil if using. Mix easy-blend dried yeast in jug with hand-hot water. Mix together to make soft pliable dough.
