I have been looking into implementing partial updates using the HTTP PATCH method using ServiceStack.net. And the JSON Patch format ( RFC 6902. This is of interest since many updates do not neatly match the PUT method, which often is used for full entity updates (all properties). PATCH is intended to do one or more partial updates. Comments about happenings on DelphiDabbler.com and my wanderings through the world of the Delphi programming language. New website branding - 1st attempt. I think I've got the website header sorted sufficiently well to give it a public airing. The idea is to keep the original colour sheme and to show the site name in roughly the same style as used on the current site. But now the font's changed and it's rendering text and CSS instead of using an image. It's coded using Bootstrap. Well, that's the hard pa...

Notes, videos, music, links. You name it. Bots, Crawlers and You. I see bots all day long in my line of work. The problem I have though is the guys who list a site in their user agent which claims to respect the robots.txt, and then ignores it. I have some recent activity from some anonymous bots on AWS. The sad part is we can’t possibly block them all because we don’t really know what they want. Maybe they’re one of the good guys? Then eat it up. I don’t really care. Bah Off the soapbox.
