Rhinexing's 15mm Pillbox: June 2013
http://rhinexing.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
A dad - juggling family, reenacting and miniature wargaming. While I'm nearly finished with with the mid-war LRDG objective marker, I've run into a hurdle. I need a least one bare-chested desert-uniformed Brit to complete it. While I'm halfway decent at kit-bashing and modifying models, I don't think I'll be able to model a figure from scratch. Also, I hate buying a whole blister for one or two figures. More to follow on the remaining three. A Little More Progress. NOVA OPEN Objective Marker Progress.

Rhinexing's 15mm Pillbox: NOVA Objective Markers - DONE!
http://rhinexing.blogspot.com/2013/08/nova-objective-markers-done.html
A dad - juggling family, reenacting and miniature wargaming. NOVA Objective Markers - DONE! I feel a great sense of accomplishment, now having completed the four markers. A lot of research and work went into them. I hope their winners will appreciate them as much as I enjoyed creating them. With these done, and the kids going back to school next week, I'm fired up to get cracking on my personal FoW projects! August 23, 2013 at 7:46 PM. Stellar work as always. Many thanks! A dad - juggling family, reenacting and miniature wargaming. 24-Hr Iron Painter. and I'm Off! I announced in my last post that I would be participating in my first marathon painting competition. My biggest challenge won't be staying awake, or even keeping a steady hand; It will come in the form of my bad back. I'm not sure that my back is up to the challenge. We'll see! Just need to prime these before I head out. 2 Hours In. doesn't look like much. 9 hours in - OD layer ( helmets, field jackets, etc.).

A dad - juggling family, reenacting and miniature wargaming. Staff Team and Battery CO. FINISHED! Yes the base is meant to be shiny. I wanted to make the ground look wet and muddy. I may add vines to the fence, but otherwise it's finished. Enjoy! Here are a few pics of my Command Car project for my artillery staff team base, with AFV's and half-tracks in the background. They are still a work in progress, and any comments are appreciated. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Maryland, United States.

A dad - juggling family, reenacting and miniature wargaming. Model Bath Time and Progress. I'm ready to wash the models and then on to priming. Here are a few pics of my Dodge Command Car build before I prime it. The figure is from the Artillery HQ blister. I modified it by removing the stool he was sitting on and his feet; as well as removing a section of his torso (he sat up too high in the vehicle). Enjoy! My Full (& Cluttered) Workbench.
