On Friday night of the first week, we had invited all the students that heard our presentations in the schools to come to the Friendship House for a night of games and eating American foods. Most of the time, I'm not very adventurous in what I order, but I've had some interesting and delicious dishes. Those lights across the lake in the photo below are the football stadium where the Bemidji Lumberjacks were playing their Homecoming game- they won! If he is not adopted by the age of four, he has to go to a mental institute. It is very expensive for the couple to travel there, and they are working on raising about $40,000 total.
