A selection of photos from some of my infrequent visits to NSW. 82 - 81 - 48 class locomotives speed a motley collection of grain hoppers through Branxton. Triple 90 class locos hauling a very long empty coal train through Branxton station. A pair of 90's slowly gather momentum through the dip at Greta with a long coal train. BHP train at Port Kembla steel works. XPT at Sydney terminal. DEB set at a wet Picton station. TNT Harbourlink Monorail, Sydney. Tangara double deck train set.

Just an assortment of railway photos I've taken in Victoria over the last couple of decades. Z 526 - Polly. This locomotive was statically preserved and now resides at Scienceworks Museum. A special event at Steamrail gave a rare opportunity to photograph it coupled to the almost as rarely seen Veteran 4 and 6 wheeled passenger carriages. J 512 sitting on a siding at Alexandra, 1986. Bairnsdale Reopening

After 10 years and 8 months, Bairnsdale's Passenger train returned on May 2 nd 2004. I was invited to ride the inaugural train which ran for officials and guests. Here's a few scenes from the day. All photos taken in late 1993. Bush Mill Railway. 15 inch gauge railway at Port Arthur. The locomotive is a half size replica of K-1, the world's first Garratt locomotive. On an early morning empty coal train to Fingal. Wee Georgie Wood on a section of the preserved Tullah tramway that once provided the only connection to the west coast town of Tullah. The Goliath Express arrives at Devonport with the Devonport - Railton Goliath Cement shuttle train. ZB9 passes ZC11 at Devonport. ZC32 at Western Junction.
