Recipe from Joy of Cooking. Preheat oven to 425. 2 C White Flour. 1 T Baking Powder (never, ever substitute Baking Soda . salty, bitter, gross). Whisk together these dry ingredients. Cut in 6 T Sweet Cream butter with pastry knife until butter pieces are pea sized or smaller and the mixture looks coarse. 1/2 C Heavy Cream.

This stuffed squash recipe was ah-mazing. 1 lb ground turkey. 1 can diced tomatoes, drained (sun dried would also be delish). 1/2 - 1 C breadcrumbs. Parmesan cheese to taste. 1 huge honking zucchini. Prepare filling: Sweat garlic and onions in pan. Add turkey and brown. Add tomatoes, herbs, and pesto. Simmer. Black Beans and Cuban Corn.

Coincidentally, my friend from work mentioned a salad she recently had featuring those two ingredients. This is my rendition of that salad. 1 Peach, small dice. 1 T dill, chopped finely. 1 T green onions, sliced thinly. 2 cucumbers, in slices. 1 T balsamic vinegar. 3 T olive oil.
