Saturday, 13 September 2014. Joining the Modern World. So, I've avoided owning a cell phone for the past 33 years. Of any kind. Just never felt like I needed or wanted one. Also, I've got a small circle of friends and I tend to get all the social interaction I can handle at work (public facing role). Texting got easier, apparently. Monday, 26 November 2012. I’m not really a fan of television, or at least North American television. Most of the prime time line up consists of visceral drama. You know the stuff:. Violent crime, drug use, etc. etc. Obviously this type of entertainment makes money otherwise no one would pay to produce it. Which is why we have laws, police and courts. So, what of Rob Ford? If I had a say, which I don't (not a resident of Toronto), I think Mr. Ford should take his leave; maybe even have the decency to resign and the courage to get help.
