舊金山古箏樂團音樂總監及五位資深團員於2012年5月18日應邀在 UC Santa Barbara 舉辦了一場專題音樂會，向主流社會推介包括古箏在內的中國傳統音樂，深獲好評。 在古琴、琵琶、古箏演奏，唐宋詩詞吟唱，及舞蹈時，將配有銀幕放映甲骨文、篆隸、各種書法 漢、唐 、宋、元、明、清 、古代名家名畫 以及近代名畫家黃公望、黃賓虹、齊白石、張大千等名作 并加以司儀旁白的形式，在舞台同時展現。 主要曲目有 1425年宋代古琴曲 瀟湘水雲 古琴 獨奏 古箏二胡唐詩詠唱 陽關三疊 ， 靜夜思 描寫清朝宮女生活的琵琶獨奏曲 陳隋 描寫楚漢相爭時刻骨銘心戰爭場面的 十面埋伏 晉代名曲 梅花三弄 古箏古琴重奏 古箏彈唱弘一大師的 送別 流傳至今一千多年 將軍令 古箏獨奏 出水蓮 描寫陳杏元被送往匈奴和番的 落院 箏獨奏舞蹈配樂 描寫秦始皇筑長城時 孟姜女 的故事 古箏合奏 盛唐大曲 月兒高 三十人古箏四部大合奏。 本團學員 Lina Cheung 榮獲星島日報主辦的2011年少年才藝比賽冠軍! 169; 2005 - 2012 San Francisco Gu-Zheng Music Society.
