Some of life’s greatest enjoyment comes from the small things. This was my inspiration for creating Gwen’s Gems in 1988. At that time I began to develop and design a collection of attractive. Jewelry for fun and fashion. Over the years this collection has expanded to include a full line of Sterling Silver and Vintage/Antique Jewelry. I was also inspired by the natural beauty and magic. Of the Hudson Valley area - Woodstock in particular -. Which I hope you will have the opportunity to visit. .

Gwen's Gleanings
In my search for my Engwell ancestors at the Essex Record Office I have amassed the following data collected from parish registers and census returns. None of the entries have been checked against the records of the GRO. Some of the entries were spelt Ingel; Enguel; Enguell and Engrell but where I have had further confirmation that the same family also spelt their name 'Engwell' I have used that spelling. Not all of these people are my ancestors but maybe they are yours. Good luck in your research!
