Easter Sunday was the annual GWFFA/EDFF day at Grafham where GWFFA host the event and are joined by members of the English Disabled Fly Fishers as well as representatives from Wales and other organisations like England Ladies (ELFA). This was my first trip to Bewl Water in Kent so I was looking forward to the chance of fishing somewhere new. This is for me to keep record of successes and failures of flyfishing at Grafham Water, Rutland Water and other reservoirs. Wednesday, 15 May 2013. Catch up on 2012. Here's a brief catch up on 2012. Highlight of the year was making a 2nd English National final which was at Bewl Water in September. The 2 qualifiers went really well for me with a very fast limit at Rutland in May followed by 7 fish at Grafham in June. This put me in 2nd place overall so qualified for the final. Enough said about that.

Friday 24th April was the date of this years AMFC Spring Association Match and it was held at Hanningfield Reservoir in Essex. The weather for the day was forecast to be bright and sunny with a strong breeze and lived up to the forecast. We had a hearty breakfast at the lodge, tackled up and boarded the boats.
