Tan-y-Garth is on OS Map, Land ranger 1:50,000 series - Sheet 115 - Snowdon and surrounding area - Grid ref: 737568. From the North-West on the A5, pass through Capel Curig towards Betwys y Coed. The turnoff over the bridge is 0.5 miles from Capel Curig, just after passing the Tyn y Coed hotel on your left. 169;The Gwydyr Mountain Club.

There is sleeping accomodation on solidly built wooden bunks in a single mixed-sex bunk area for up to 32 people. Seven bunks are always reserved for members, and to ovoid overcrowding in the kitchen visiting parties are limited to a maximum of 20 people. The kitchen/dining area is well fitted out with two separate gas cookers, two fridges, a microwave, toasters and electric kettles. Hot water is supplied from the gas boiler. Ample crockery and kitchen utensils are supplied. 169;The Gwydyr Mountain Club.

The Club meets socially from 9.30 every Tuesday evening in a private room at the back of the pub. A short walk from Conway Park station on Merseyrail, or just off Hamilton Square by road on the corner of Price Street and Adelphi Street, the Stork is well worth a visit in its own right. This historic pub dates from the mid 19th century, and was given a high quality remodelling around 1903 with a rich display of Edwardian tiling. The Stork is listed by CAMRA as a Real Heritage pub (see link.
