In the nick of time, here are some updates and photos from September and October. Sans Halloween shots - I'll have to do another post for that! Today is exciting for the adults as we finally had solar panels installed on our roof. It's a double win: makes sense financially and environmentally.

Wednesday, July 14, 2010. For Daddy . . . Big girl, Aida, flew in a plane to see Teta! She handled it all pretty well. She was absolutely fascinated by the planes, luggage trucks, people, and noise! She had been studying a book I got her titled, "Airport." By far, the most interesting thing to her was the potty on the airplane! I plan on taking her to see the farm animals tomorrow. And we're driving south in the afternoon . . . we'll see what happens! Can't wait for the cousins to join us!

Tuesday, August 2, 2011. We were evacuated from our home because of a local wildfire and ended up staying a week with my dad! I think Aida wore out two grandparents! Then we traveled to attend Tarik's 20th High School reunion! We had just attended mine this summer, so we had the routine down! Talk, talk, talk! While in NJ we had three great days at the beach! Now we're home and enjoying the cool air! Aida and Grandma Deborah with curlers in their hair out back in my dad's house! Aida and Grandpa Marty.

We both volunteered our services at an annual spayathon through our good friend Nancy Janes and Romania Animal Rescue. Stray dogs are a significant problem in Romania and RAR.
