Monday, August 27, 2012. Why so long between posts? Pacific Guest House (PGH). The VSO volunteer home away from home - our destination on arrival in Kathmandu and where 'out of towners' find themselves on stays in the capital. I've spent many nights here. Great snacks, about 100 metres from PGH. About 100 metres in the other direction from PGH, they do not seem to have a happy life really. One afternoon in May, VSO volunteers diverting ourselves with low cost material projects at PGH.

Saturday, May 21, 2011. I’ve enjoyed a few visits to Lumbini, Buddha’s birthplace, and also stayed overnight at the Korean Monastery. This week was a very big celebration for Buddha’s birthday with huge crowds. I missed the political leaders and the speeches only seeing the helicopter overhead. View my complete profile. Music club and Conversational English with Pre Formals. Tuesdays are when we have Music Club from 4-6pm.usually the girls dance on much later than this. Grace used this Tuesday CLub to teach the Pre Formals one of the popular dances enjoyed by Tz's. The girls were encouraged to take their turn at creating their own routine using the same music! They loved the challenge and had lots of fun showing that they are inaturally tuned into rhythm and coordination of dance. 5 logs of wood.
