Work cast handstand lower back to the bar with a spot A LOT! From the handstand the gymnast must think about extending as far from the bar as possible on the downward swing. It must contain both forward and backwards tumbling elements as well as a single leg or arm balance (scale). Doing backwards rolls down an incline mat will help develop a feel.
