The lesson, part 2. Well, I've already updated today, but I thought I'd do a bit more. Obviously, I'm excited about my subject, but I figure if you get bored you'll just stop reading. Otherwise, you submit yourself to my observations and musing and I wash my hands of responsibility. Now I'll give you some pictures. These are mostly my pictures from the castle yesterday and my Deutsch Museum trip the day before. This is another picture I just liked, along the river. I believe the building is a church.

Well, sorry it's been so long since I updated, but I've been up to quite a lot. First of. All, since I last wrote, I was in Rotterdam for a huge Sinterklaas party! Saturday started off with a 3 hour city walk all over Rotterdam, then light shopping, dinner, and a huge party including a gift exchange with 200 people! The group had rented. It's always fun to get mail. ;-P. Then, the last place I visited was the Oude Kerk, where I saw the very humble epitaph of Johannes Vermeer. Remember, he had 15 children, a struggling art career, and his major benefactors were his mother in law and a Delft Baker. So no wonder he died poor. Friday, Hans and Marette took me to Brugge in Belgium, which has been there since the year 800! It was a beautiful old city all decked out for Christmas. Okay, as of tomorrow, I have exactly one week until I'm off for my big European Adventure! In some really exciting good news, I passed my certification exam for becoming a Medical Lab Technician and, if I'm reading the interpretation right, I'm in the 90th percentile! It's very exciting and a great reward for two years with a lot of frustration and plenty of hardwork. Plus it'll be a nifty bonus for getting a job when I get back home in the Spring.
