Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Last week, in order to escape the dust and noise of the renovations, I travelled to Elba Island (which you may remember from a post. Last year) where I was lucky enough to stay with some friends of Lorenzo's cousins for a few nights. You all sit there thinking it's so easy. Considering there's been next to no rain in Italy for the last couple of months, needless to say I was graced with 4 days of hot, beautiful weather, coupled with crystal clear, blue water. Just stunning!

Tuesday, May 14, 2013. A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to have an old friend of my brother come to stay for a few nights on his way home from South America. I think he is actually the first person that has come to visit that has actually stayed with us in our little apartment! Riding home from the city one day we stopped in at Luna Park so the boys could show off their manly-ness and win me some giant fluffy toys (which turned out to be a soccer ball and a dart board. SO FLUUUFFFYYY).

Bang to the kok. On Saturday morning I boarded a four hour flight to Bangkok which was less than enjoyable as a noisy child kicked the back of my seat the whole way there.
