My own musings, rants, and personal truths. Sunday, November 17, 2013. Today I read James 1. And I had a few impressions come to me that I can honestly say I have never had before. I have begun to see hidden esoteric truths in the words of the bible, especially once I stopped trying to take every word literally, as an explicit instruction manual written and translated from many different languages to the point that it literally takes divine intervention to make use of it. Why beat ourselves up about it?

I hated fighting and wanted nothing to do with it. In the past four months i have finally taught myself how to get angry. I have learned how to be offended and how to get upset. Spit and polish til it shines. Monday, December 10, 2007. Whatever happened to nice people? No one smiles anymore. no one looks or laughs or speaks with anyone they don't know. I miss being a kid and getting away with confronting strangers for no reason. I remember a time when i could meet someone and instantly be friends with them. First day at a new school i met a girl with hair longer than anyone i had ever seen. she let me braid it during reading time and even shared crayons with me. Grow up, people!
